Dr. Bajya advises farmers to adopt an integrated approach for Controlling pests in Kharif Crops
Dr. Dewa Ram Bajya is an eminent Scientist who has worked on various assignments with India’s Premier Agricultural research Institutions as an Entomologist.
Dr. Bajya has published a large number of research papers in prominent journals.

In this series, recently Dr. Bajya was the expert speaker on DD Kisan channel in a ‘Phone in’ program wherein he advised the farmers on present situation of Kharif crops specially Rice and Cotton.
His major emphasis was on an integrated approach to insects and pests and he suggested many cost effective methods of insect control to the farmers.
However in case of severe attack, the use of chemical insecticides is a necessity. For this he recommended use of less toxic products, Proper dosage and use of sufficient quantity of spray water and avoiding the repeat spray of same insecticide.
He advised the use of Silicone based adjuvants in order to ensure that the farmers get maximum efficiency of use so that the frequency of spraying may be reduced. Their spray will be effective almost instantly even if there is rainfall shortly after spray.
Farmers from Haryana, Punjab, UP, Rajasthan and also from MP and Maharashtra called up and got solution to their crop related problems.
